While the Internet offers an overwhelming amount of resources for gifted or advanced learners, there are simple, clear choices to help guide us.

One of my favorites is a limited download copy of The Miniature Guide to Critical Thinking by Dr. Richard Paul and Dr. Linda Elder.

You can find it at http://www.criticalthinking.org/files/Concepts_Tools.pdf. This short synopsis is a great starting point for anyone interested in developing or learning about critical thinking skills.
